Prerequisites
To access this view, you need to assign the Line Load List - Manage privilege to your user role.
If the setting is set to either CREATE_LOADLIST_DISCHARGELIST_ONLY or CREATE_LOADLIST_DISCHARGELIST_AND_UNITS , N4 saves and displays the details of units, received via COPRAR EDI, in the Line LoadList view. However, you can also manually create or update records from this view using the Line LoadList form (on page 1). You can create a filter to limit the data displayed, such as displaying only the vessel visits that you are working on or the line operators whose containers you want to view.
Typically, a load list is a result of a filter for all units whose outbound routing is to a specific vessel visit but whose position is still not the vessel visit. A terminal operator who receives this list of units via EDI cannot often identify the changes applied to the existing units or manually decide whether to update or ignore an attribute of a unit in the load list. The Line LoadList view facilitates viewing the unit details received through the COPRAR message and editing the container attributes using the Line LoadList form.
N4 records the modified unit details in the LoadList Discrepancies tab of the Vessel Inspector; allowing the terminal operator to view the changes made to a unit and determining if the update should be posted to the unit record or not.
In the Line LoadList view, you cannot add duplicate entries for a given combination of container ID and vessel visit.
In addition, you can use the Actions menu to:
Export SNX file: Export the selected load list records as an XML file using the snx.xsd format.
N4 also supports SNX export of the unit and unit facility visit (ufv) flex fields in the line loadlists.
Update Ufv Flex Fields: Update the unit facility visit flex fields for the selected unit using the Correct Ufv Flex Fields form.
The Correct Ufv Flex Fields form displays only the load list ufv flex fields (prefix linellUfv) configured for your site. For more information about the available flex fields, see Available flex fields.
If you do not have any flex fields configured, the Correct Ufv Flex Fields form does not display any fields.
Update Unit Flex Fields: Update the unit flex fields for the selected unit using the Correct Unit Flex Fields form.
The Correct Unit Flex Fields form displays only the load list unit flex fields (prefix linellUnit) configured for your site. For more information about the available flex fields, see Available flex fields.
If you do not have any flex fields configured, the Correct Unit Flex Fields form does not display any fields.
Post to Unit(s): Post the updated details to the unit record in the Units view. When posting the details to a unit, N4 creates the specified unit if it does not already exist. If the unit exists, N4 updates the record using the EDI posting rules, configured in the Posting Rules view, to determine the fields to be updated. You can configure the posting rules to ignore those fields in the Loadlist EDI for which you need to manually review the discrepancies.
When you post to a unit, in addition to creating or updating a unit using the information in a load list record, N4 also applies or revokes permissions configured in the EDI session of the EDI partner or line operator who sends the load list. If no EDI session is configured, N4 does not make any changes to the permissions, it only updates the unit record. EDI action code Revoke cancels the existing permission on units while Original/Update grants permission to units.
On the other hand, if there are multiple EDI sessions or partners, N4 does not guarantee applying or revoking permissions.
